Job summary

National Interstate is seeking a Claims Operations Associate II to join our claims team in Richfield, OH on a hybrid schedule. This role requires processing and organizing claim file information for basic claims and supporting handling moderately complex claims.

You will help identify opportunities to streamline procedures, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while ensuring accurate data handling. A minimum of 3 years in claim operations or customer service is expected, with a High School

National Interstate is looking for a Claims Operations Associate II to join their team.

This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield, OH office.

National Interstate’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships.

To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

This position is Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)

Experience: Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in claim operations or customer service.

• Effective analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.
