Job summary

ProAg, a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group, is seeking a Claims Processing Auditor to join our team in West Des Moines, IA or Lenexa, KS. This full-time role focuses on auditing and processing claims, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

You will work with Underwriting, Claims, and Compliance, reporting to the Claims Processing Manager, in a 4:1 hybrid workplace. Applicants should have at least two years of relevant experience and a high school diploma.

• Two years of relevant and progressive professional experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims through auditing and data entry activities.
• Ensure claims are adequately documented in our processing system.
• Track claims for timeliness.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure changes are made prior to payment.
• Process loss claims for payment.
• Attend assigned training as needed.
• Communicate clearly with crop adjusters, team members, compliance, accounting and agents.
• Provide support to other regions through cross-training.

Role Overview

ProAg has an exciting opportunity for a Claims Auditor to join our team. You will audit and process claims, checking for accuracy and completeness. Bring your passion for innovation and collaboration to ProAg to help serve our farmers, agents, and re-insurers. Reporting to the Claims Processing Manager, you will expedite the processing and payment of all claims. You must thrive in a collaborative environment where you will work closely with other departments including Underwriting, Claims, and Compliance, and be a resource for them. This position will report to the West Des Moines, Iowa or Lenexa, Kansas locations. ProAg is a 4:1 hybrid workplace; Monday through Thursday is in office, with Friday being a remote day.

In this Exciting Opportunity, You Will:

• Monitor claims through auditing and data entry activities
• Ensure claims are adequately documented in our processing system
• Track claims for timeliness
• Work closely with the Underwriting Department to ensure any changes required to claims are made in the system prior to payment
• Process loss claims for payment
• Attend assigned training as needed
• Collaborate with and communicate information clearly and effectively to crop adjusters, team members, compliance, accounting and agents
• Provide support to other regions as needed through cross-training activities
• Adhere to the expectations of ProAg policyholder touchpoints

What You Bring

• Two years of relevant and progressive professional experience
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy with employees and customers
• Sound analytical skills with a deep attention to detail in order to problem solve
• Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, set and shift priorities, and adapt to change
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy, Risk Management Agency (RMA) guidelines, etc.
