Job summary

MedPro Group is seeking a Claims Systems Training professional to train new Claims Consultants and Division Claim Managers across all lines of business. You will partner with vendors and IT to enhance system functionality and support billing and reporting processes.

This role administers the Claims SharePoint page, CounselLink billing system, and supports audits, access management, and system guidance for Claims staff, ensuring data integrity and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in insurance-related courses is preferred.
  • Experience providing system training and supporting users adopting new technology.
  • Thorough knowledge of claims systems and systems administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide claims systems training for new Claims Consultants and Division Claim Managers across all lines of business.
  • Partner with system vendors and third-party support teams to resolve issues and improve functionality.
  • Coordinate with IT on system changes, and design/implement new systems.
  • Administer the Claims SharePoint page and CounselLink billing system.
  • Monitor and enter manual off-panel payments related to claims billing.
  • Provide system guidance and training materials to Claims personnel; support audits and reporting.
  • Support audits, data requests, and data integrity for Claims operations.
  • Assist with Claims communications portal and user access management.

In this role, you will...
  • Provide claims systems training for new Claims Consultants and Division Claim Managers across all lines of business.
  • Partner with system vendors and third-party support teams to resolve issues, enhance system functionality, and maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology on system-related issues, including changes to existing systems and the design and implementation of new systems.
  • Serve as administrator and liaison for the Claims SharePoint page, maintaining support information for Claims personnel.
  • Administer the CounselLink electronic billing system, including adding new firms, applying firm rates, and assisting firms and Claims Consultants with billing and system issues.
  • Monitor and enter manual off-panel payments related to claims billing and payment activity.
  • Provide regular tips, reference materials, and system guidance to Claims personnel to enhance productivity.
  • Provide administrative and management support for Claims operations, systems activity, training coordination, reporting, and special projects.
  • Support the Claims Communication Portal for internal and external users by establishing and maintaining law firm personnel accounts, managing user access, troubleshooting issues, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with technical support teams.
  • Support annual corporate audits by managing system access and data requests, validating claims data and reports, preparing audit documentation, and maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to assigned projects, audits, systems activity, and Claims operations support.
  • Participate in system development meetings, Claims training sessions, staff meetings, and claims meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates with...
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree and/or continuing education in insurance-related courses is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing systems training, creating instructional materials, and supporting users in adopting new or updated technology.
  • Thorough knowledge of claims systems and systems administration.
  • A strong understanding of medical, legal, and claims procedures and practices.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve claims systems issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment when handling confidential information, user access, and data integrity.
  • A professional level of comfort working with adversarial relationships and external business partners.
  • The ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, attorneys, law firm personnel, system vendors, and service providers.
