This role collaborates with Legal, Risk Management, Operations, and project teams to manage insured and uninsured claims, coordinating with carriers, adjusters, and attorneys.
You will maintain files, prepare reports, and assist in proof of loss submissions while ensuring compliance and timely resolution.
The Weitz Company is hiring a Claims Manager I to support the administration, analysis, documentation, and resolution of construction-related claims and disputes incurred by the company. This role works closely with the Legal, Risk Management, Operations, and project teams to manage both insured and uninsured construction-related claims arising from project operations. The Claims Manager I serves as a key coordinator among project teams, insurance carriers, brokers, adjusters, consultants, attorneys, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claim resolution.
