Navigate Search is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Manager to oversee claim evaluations, coverage determinations, reserves, payments, and third-party claims administration in California.

The successful candidate will bring deep commercial auto claims experience, strong coverage judgment, and the ability to manage complex files while ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective resolutions in collaboration with TPAs, legal counsel, and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in Commercial Auto or Auto Insurance claims.
• Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, claims handling, and policy interpretation.
• Experience with TPAs, defense counsel, and field adjusters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate coverage based on reports, policy language, statutes, and case law.
• Identify issues, determine investigation steps.
• Review and validate payments and reserves from TPAs.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Manager to oversee claim evaluations, coverage determinations, reserves, payments, and third-party claims administration.

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial auto claims experience, sound coverage judgment, and the ability to manage complex claims while ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective resolution. This individual will work closely with third-party administrators, legal counsel, field adjusters, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective claims management and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Commercial Auto insurance coverage based on claim reports, policy language, applicable statutes, and case law to determine coverage eligibility.
• Identify key claim issues, establish investigation requirements, and determine appropriate next steps.
• Review and validate claim payments and case reserves recommended by Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Ensure timely and accurate claimant payments while monitoring and managing TPA expenses.
• Select, coordinate, and manage defense and coverage counsel.
• Provide claim-specific guidance and direction to field adjusters as needed.
• Identify potential insurance fraud and implement appropriate investigative procedures when fraud is suspected.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, management, and external business partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Auto or Auto Insurance Claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage analysis, claims handling, policy interpretation, and claims investigation.
• Experience working with Third-Party Administrators, defense counsel, and field adjusters preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, diligence, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with insurance policy administration and/or claims management systems.
