Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Claims Intern for Summer 2027 in Las Cruces, NM. You will review and analyze claims documentation, assist with auto storm losses, and manage assignments for material damage while gaining exposure to underwriting processes.

Ideal candidates are current college students (junior/senior) with strong computer skills, excellent communication and customer-service abilities, and a willingness to learn across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Be a current college student and junior or senior preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and teamwork.
• Comfortable talking on the phone and handling inquiries.
• Detail oriented and able to ask questions.
• On-site work at our New Mexico State office during summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and analyze documentation related to claims.
• Assist with auto storm losses and manage claim assignments for material damage.
• Help manage losses during storm season and assist with rental vehicles and title processing.
• Opportunity to work with underwriting processes to expand experience.
• participate in corporate activities to gain exposure to industry and culture.
