Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of office experience with data entry.
• Ability to analyze information in incoming correspondence to determine required data.

Responsibilities

• Enter data obtained from mail and electronic claims into the appropriate computer system according to departmental needs.
• Search and maintain provider information obtained from manual entry of claims or from EDI transmissions.
• Perform manual or web-based repricing functions, verifying provider participation and determining the correct discount amount if applicable.
• Handle clerical tasks, including picking up and distributing daily reports, sorting and batching claims mail, and retrieving authorizations.
