Job summary

ClaimSorted Inc. in Dallas is seeking an early-career Claims Handler to join our in-office team and own a desk end-to-end—from first notice of loss through resolution.

You’ll communicate with policyholders, make well-documented decisions within your authority, and grow quickly in a high-growth InsurTech environment that rewards performance and initiative. Training and support will accelerate your progress, with access to data, coverage, investigation, and integrity tools as you become a claims

Qualifications

• Texas All-Lines Adjuster license, with Texas designated as home state.
• 1–2 years of adjusting experience.
• Willing to work 5 days in office in Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Own a desk of claims end to end—from first notification of loss through resolution.
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, ensuring a clear and positive experience.
• Make sound, well-documented decisions and manage claims within your authority.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalation appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and thorough claims records for audit and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by working with operations and engineering.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own a desk of claims end to end: from first notification of loss through to resolution
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, ensuring a clear and positive experience
• Make sound, well-documented decisions and manage claims within your authority
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalation appropriately
• Maintain accurate and thorough claims records for audit and compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement by working with operations and engineering

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Willing to work 5 days in office in Dallas (in our amazing new office Downtown)
• Texas All-Lines Adjuster license, with Texas designated as your home state
• 1–2 years of adjusting experience
• Sharp, organised, and able to prioritise independently
• A clear communicator, in writing and on the phone
• Genuinely curious about how claims and coverage work
• Comfortable using data to make decisions
• Team-oriented, hardworking, and ambitious
• Startup or high-growth experience is a plus
