Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years college or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2 years of recent experience in healthcare accounts receivable.
• Thorough knowledge of private insurance claims processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review patient documentation and claims.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage.
• Ensure accurate coding and billing data.
• Submit claims to private insurers and follow up regularly.
• Investigate denials and work error/reject reports.
• Update patient and insurance information in our systems.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve billing issues quickly.
