Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group in Sarasota is seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to obtain claim-related information from agents, policyholders and claimants to complete the Notice of Loss for all lines of business. The role supports all regions and handles inquiries and routing for claims and providers.

This hybrid position in our Sarasota office requires strong multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of general clerical work or other work experience which led to the knowledge of claims processing.
• Advanced customer service skills, ability to handle high call volume.
• Typing score of minimum of 30 words per minute.
• Good computer knowledge including experience with Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Obtain claim-related factual information from agents, policyholders and claimants to complete notices of loss.
• Handle new claims and correspondence for all regions and lines of business.
• Answer claim and provider inquiries; route calls to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with administrative tasks to support the department.

Currently seeking aClaims Customer Service Representativeto obtain claim-related factual information from agents, policyholders and claimants in order to complete the Notice of Loss documents for all lines of business. The representative is also responsible for all new claims and correspondence for all regions and all lines of business, answering claim and provider inquiries, routing all other company related calls to the appropriate personnel and some administrative tasks to support the department.This role requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The position will be a hybrid position working in our Sarasota, FL office.

The salary range for this position is $18.58-$28.62 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
