Position: Business Analyst / Project Coordinator – Claims Implementation

100% Remote

Contract position

Job Description:

This consultant will provide specialized support in project management and coordination for the Cognizant Claims Implementation project. The individual will work closely with your Senior Project Manager (PM) to ensure the successful execution of project tasks, including timelines, resource management, issue resolution, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist with scheduling, organizing, and tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between teams (e.g., IT, business, vendors) and senior management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Status Reporting: Regularly update the Senior PM and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify roadblocks and work with teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain proper project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, and reports.
  • Risk Management: Support in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating project risks to ensure the project stays on track.

  • Proven experience in project management (preferably in IT or claims-related projects).
  • Familiarity with Cognizant or similar enterprise software solutions.
