Job summary

Curran Recruiting is seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Consultant for the Greater Atlanta area. You will serve as a key resource for clients, guiding them through complex property and casualty claims and communicating with carriers and other parties involved in claim resolution.

The role requires a strong background in commercial claims, ability to analyze coverage, manage high-value situations, and provide proactive guidance to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in property, general liability and auto claims coverage.
• Experience handling or overseeing commercial property, general liability, casualty, or similar claims.
• Previous experience in claims adjusting, claims consulting, claims management, or client advocacy preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage provisions, exclusions, and endorsements.
• Experience working with complex or higher-severity claims.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for commercial clients throughout the claims process.
• Coordinate the reporting and ongoing management of property and casualty claims.
• Track claim activity and maintain documentation within internal systems.
• Review insurance policies and related coverage information to help identify potential claim issues.
• Work with carriers, adjusters, attorneys, internal teams, and clients to address claim questions and challenges.
• Provide additional support on complex, high-value, or disputed claims.
• Assist clients with coverage concerns, claim delays, settlement discussions, and other escalated matters.
• Conduct regular claim status discussions with clients and provide clear updates regarding open claims.
• Identify claim trends and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Support broader client service initiatives involving claims, risk management, and insurance program discussions.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Consultant to support business clients with complex property and casualty claims. This position serves as a key resource throughout the claims process, helping clients understand coverage, navigate challenging claim situations, and communicate effectively with insurance carriers and other parties involved in claim resolution.

This role is best suited for someone with a strong commercial claims background who is comfortable working directly with clients, analyzing coverage, managing complex situations, and providing proactive claim guidance.
