Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate Director, Claims Compliance to lead a team of analysts focused on regulatory inquiries and market conduct exams. You will drive adherence to state and federal regulations, partner with regulators, and translate strategy into actionable plans to strengthen claims compliance.

Based in Tempe, AZ, this hybrid role requires three in-office days per week with Thursdays fixed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications

7+ years in claims operations, processing, and regulatory policy.
5+ years of people management and multi-project leadership.
Proven experience collaborating with regulatory agencies.
Experience forming data-driven, concrete answers in uncertain data.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate Oscar claims processes including research, adjustments, and regulatory inquiries.
Lead a team of claims analysts specializing in regulatory compliance and external responses.
Influence strategy by providing quantitative and qualitative inputs for departmental success.
Translate claims strategy into business plans to meet KPIs and SLAs.
Collaborate with other departments and regulators to develop actionable solutions.
Ensure timely results and issue resolution through cross-departmental initiatives.
