Job summary

SageSure is hiring a Claims Analyst II to build operational reports and dashboards, supporting our growing Claims department. You will translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, mentor junior analysts, and optimize ETL workflows in Domo and Redshift.

Join our Claims Insights team to enable data-driven decision making and strengthen controls across the claim lifecycle, leveraging Tableau, Domo, and Power BI for executive visibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
• 1+ years of Property Insurance or Claims experience.
• Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with data/visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI).
• Advanced SQL programming skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and tell a story with visuals.
• Understand database structure and ETL processes.
• Excellent organizational skills for multiple projects.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and develop custom reporting.
• Advanced Excel, AWS Redshift, and MS SQL Server skills.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and data validation skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify reporting opportunities with Claims leadership.
• Develop dashboards to identify actions quickly.
• Incorporate data dashboards into daily/weekly management processes.
• Analyze Claims data in Domo, Redshift and Excel for insights.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks for accuracy.
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions for KPIs.
• Build complex dashboards and automated reports for controls.
• Establish frameworks for using current claims data effectively.
• Mentor other analysts.
• Develop, test, and optimize ETL workflows in Domo.
• Maintain data pipelines for reporting needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and support data-driven decisions.
