American International Group (AIG) is seeking an Analyst for the Claims department to join our team and contribute to resolving claims with our underwriters, actuaries, and legal partners. The role emphasizes learning, growth, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by June 2027 and a start date of July 26, 2027. This is an in-person opportunity requiring four days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims while collaborating with underwriters, actuaries, legal, HR, and operations teams.
• Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to support business objectives and projects.
• Monitor claims activity, respond to customer inquiries, and help ensure accurate payments, appropriate reserving, and cost management.
• Promote consistency and best practices across the organization to drive operational excellence.
• Gain exposure to multiple Claims disciplines including Adjusting, Administration & Analytics, Fraud & Recovery, and Operations.
