Job summary

AIG is seeking an Analyst in the Claims department in the United States to help policyholders manage losses and support timely resolutions. This program offers learning experiences and instructor-led masterclasses to develop your skills as part of a connected cohort.

You will work with underwriters, actuaries, legal, HR, and operations to analyze claims, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience, while building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims while collaborating with underwriters, actuaries, legal, HR, and operations teams.
• Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key business stakeholders to support business objectives and project execution.
• Monitor claims activity, respond to customer inquiries, and help ensure accurate payments, appropriate reserving, and effective cost management.
• Contribute to operational excellence by promoting consistency and claims best practices across the organization.
• Gain exposure to a variety of Claims disciplines, including Claims Adjusting & Examining, Claims Administration & Analytics, Fraud & Recovery, Claims Account Relationship Management, and Claims Operations.
