What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Configure 3rd party insurance setups within proprietary systems and monitor claims-related events
- Communicate effectively with 3rd party entities including Pharmacy Benefit Managers and vendors regarding claims inquiries
- Research and resolve complex billing issues, implementing methods to reduce claim denials
- Prepare recurring reports related to claim denials or payments, summarizing findings for management
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot internal and external inquiries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a billing position within a healthcare setting
- At least 1 year of experience with pharmacy or health data analysis
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Pharmacy, Long Term Care, or Managed Care setting
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management abilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Query building experience using Microsoft Access or other proprietary systems
- Familiarity with long-term care pharmacy or facility billing practices
- Proven analytical skills and technical knowledge in pharmacy claims
