Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. in Mason, OH, seeks a Sr Analyst – Claims to drive KPI development, reporting and financial analysis. You will retrieve data from SAP, AS400, Facets and produce month-end analyses. Hybrid work: 2-3 days in Mason office; 40 hours weekly.

Ideal candidates have a finance/accounting/MIS background, 3+ years of experience, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of comparable experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and mine data from SAP, AS400, Facets, and Business Objects.
• Prepare month end reporting and analysis.
• Perform financial and operational analyses to identify opportunities.
• Create reports, graphs and charts of data.
• Analyze claim data, provide trends and efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate with management to summarize financial and operational data.
• Track and report performance indicators and savings opportunities.

SR ANALYST - CLAIMS

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Analyst – Claims works closely with process leaders to develop KPI’s, enhance operational reporting, perform analytics to highlight process opportunities, complete month end close responsibilities and analyze financial data to identify areas of opportunities.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retrieve and mine relevant data from key systems (SAP, AS400, Facets, Business Objects).
• Prepare month end reporting and analysis
• Perform financial/operational research work and prepare analyses such as claim analysis, collection rates and productivity reporting.
• Compile or prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
• Analyze claim data, provide reporting and trend analysis, identify areas of opportunity for efficiencies.
• Cooperate with other departments and stakeholders in the preparation and review of analyses.
• Track, report, and analyze financial and operational performance measurement indicators.
• Prepare special claim and operational reports, quantify savings and process opportunities.
• Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, research, analyze and summarize financial and operational data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent)
• 3+ years of comparable experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
