Job summary

Open Lending, LLC is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to review, evaluate, and process commercial casualty claims. The role requires interpreting policy provisions, independent claim management, and timely, well-documented decisions.

Collaboration with carriers, clients, and internal teams is essential. Ideal candidates will have a Texas Property and Casualty license, 1+ year claims or customer service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Texas Property and Casualty claims adjuster license.
• 1+ years of claims experience or other customer service role.
• Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of the Lenders Protection program, products, and procedures.
• Review claims and gather information required to determine eligibility for payment.
• Identify incorrect insurance application information before payment.
• Calculate payments and submit claims to payment queue.
• Analyze uninsured losses and contributing factors.
• Escalate significant losses and process issues to appropriate staff.
• Communicate with clients about process issues and corrective actions.
• Train client employees responsible for claim submissions.
• Maintain complete, accurate, timely documentation of findings and decisions.
• Support carrier audits with required documentation and explanations.
• Maintain licenses for states where claims are handled.
• Meet performance standards for volume, quality, and response times.
• Deliver high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Implementation, Finance, and IT.
