Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, including bodily injury.
• Experience with auto or commercial claims.
• No college degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active P&C Insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and decide on investigations, evaluations, and resolutions for first- and third-party, bodily injury, and litigated claims.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors throughout the claims process.
• Manage multiple assignments and document all claim activity to support outcomes.
• Settle claims within authority and escalate high-exposure claims to the Claims Manager as needed.

Responsibilities within the role include:

• Analyze claims exposure and make sound decisions to investigate, evaluate, and resolve first- and third-party, bodily injury, and litigated claims.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors throughout the claims process.
• Manage multiple assignments efficiently, documenting all claim activity to support file outcomes.
• Settle claims within assigned authority and escalation higher-exposure claims to the Claims Manager as appropriate.
