Job summary

Slide Insurance in Tampa, FL seeks a Claims Adjuster to guide policyholders through challenging moments with fair, timely outcomes. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of property claims experience, an active adjuster license, and knowledge of state regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of first-party property claims adjusting experience.
• Active adjuster license and ability to obtain and maintain required non-resident licenses.
• Experience handling represented claims involving public adjusters and/or attorneys.
• Strong understanding of coverage analysis and state regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with claims platforms such as Xactimate or Guidewire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage first-party property claims involving public adjusters, attorneys, and other represented parties.
• Investigate coverage, damages, and claim exposures to make informed claim decisions.
• Review estimates, supporting documentation, photos, and reports to evaluate losses accurately.
• Negotiate claim resolutions with public adjusters, attorneys, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and manage claim reserves throughout the life of the claim.
• Maintain thorough claim documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and company guidelines.
• Resolve disputed, and escalated claims while delivering a high level of service.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and leadership to move claims to resolution efficiently.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active adjuster license and ability to obtain and maintain required non-resident licenses
• 2+ years of first-party property claims adjusting experience, including direct insurance carrier experience
• Experience handling represented claims involving public adjusters and/or attorneys
• Strong understanding of coverage analysis, claim negotiations, and state regulatory requirements
• Experience with Xactimate, Guidewire ClaimCenter, or similar claims platforms preferred
