Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay is seeking a Claims Adjuster to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. You will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation, while coordinating with counsel and attending hearings as needed.

The role requires field investigations, strong communication, and meticulous documentation to ensure the best outcomes for the organization. This is a full-time, first-shift position based in Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
• Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims.
• Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
• Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
• Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
• Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
• Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
• Accurately document all claims activities.
