It is at the core of how we operate and the reason for our success. Grow Your Skills, Grow Your Potential
Responsibilities

Auto Injury is a customer-facing segment handling bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured claims along with property damage claims involving injuries. The Injury segment is on the cutting edge with the use of analytics to support claim employees in developing enhanced skillsets to support and protect our policyholders. Claims will be tiered within Injury based upon their claim characteristics, complexity, and severity. This could range from non-attorney represented bodily injuries, up to attorney represented and/or litigation claims.

Helping people recover from the unexpected can be one of the most rewarding aspects of the Injury claims position. We empower our claim handlers to take ownership of the customer experience, demonstrate learning agility, apply their knowledge, and lead through the eyes of our customers.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Negotiating settlements with claimants, ensuring fair compensation is provided within policy limits
  • Documenting all claim activities, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as required
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including legal, medical, and risk assessment, to ensure proper claim handling
  • Claims employees may occasionally deal with difficult and emotional investigations which include traumatic injury and loss of life
  • Handling may include lawsuits and/or demands as well as working with Attorneys

This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.

Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.

  • Bachelor's Degree

Claim handling experience including:

  • Bodily injury and property damage liability claims, as well as uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage claims
  • Verification of coverage, legal liability, and extent of damage to persons and property by using knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes, and insurance regulations
