Job summary

Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware seeks a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards. You will work with an experienced team to deliver safe, reliable service and accurate diagnostics while upholding quality workmanship.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, related automotive technician experience, ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred, strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, and a valid

• Previous automotive service technician experience preferred.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Address customer concerns through proper diagnosis, repair, and quality control.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.
• Complete repair orders and assigned work efficiently and within established time expectations.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for repair orders, timekeeping, electronic inspections, repair recommendations, and completed work.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical information, service procedures, and technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other team members regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations.
