Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Georgesville is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for our Truck Center. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and diesel-powered vehicles while collaborating with a team dedicated to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive service or related technician experience.
• Diesel and/or truck repair experience preferred.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform diesel engine, drivetrain, electrical, mechanical, and other vehicle repairs based on manufacturer specifications.
• Complete inspections and identify necessary maintenance and repair needs.
• Clearly document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommended services.
• Communicate technical diagnoses and repair needs effectively with Service Advisors and other team members.
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements

What You'll Do as a Deisel Technician:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles accurately and efficiently


• Perform diesel engine, drivetrain, electrical, mechanical, and other vehicle repairs based on manufacturer specifications

• Follow manufacturer procedures, dealership processes, and safety requirements


• Maintain current manufacturer training and certifications as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED


• Minimum of 3 years of automotive service or related technician experience


• Diesel and/or truck repair experience preferred


• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to accurately diagnose, repair, and document vehicle concerns


• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship


• Willingness to complete ongoing training and continuing education


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record


• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
