Job summary

Wyoming Federal Public Defender in Wyoming is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as its CJA Coordinating Attorney. This role focuses on mentoring panel attorneys, coordinating training, and developing resources to strengthen the CJA program across the District of Wyoming, including Cheyenne and Casper offices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited law school.
• Licensed by the highest court of a state, federal territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Member in good standing in all courts admitted to practice.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States and receive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administration and operation of the District of Wyoming’s CJA Panel.
• Monitor panel assignments and assist in equitable case distribution.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist with data collection related to panel administration.
• Review panel operations and recommend improvements to promote efficiency and quality representation.
