Job summary

Private Jet Center seeks a professional Captain (PIC) to lead charter flights in the Zelienople/Pittsburgh region, operating CJ3 and CJ4 fleet under Part 135. You will ensure safe operations, supervise crewmembers, and uphold the highest safety and service standards.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, extensive flight time, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule, including weekends and holidays. Base location is Zelienople/AGC area with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate required.
• Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Current U.S. Passport.
• Min 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Min 500 hours PIC.
• Strong knowledge of Part 135 operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Part 135 requirements.
• Conduct flight planning including weather analysis, fuel planning and weight/balance.
• Perform preflight inspections and verify airworthiness.
• Lead crew briefings and ensure effective CRM.
• Provide guidance and leadership to First Officers and crewmembers.
• Conduct passenger briefings and maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch and Ground Support.
• Serve as Inflight Security Coordinator per company procedures.
• Maintain required training, medical certification and regulatory compliance.
• Support SMS safety initiatives and reporting processes.

We are seeking a professional, safety-focused Captain (PIC) to join our charter flight operations team flying the Citation CJ3 and CJ4 fleet. Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company aircraft while delivering an exceptional client experience. The PIC serves as the final authority for the aircraft, provides leadership to assigned crewmembers, and ensures adherence to all FAA regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company manuals, and Part 135 requirements.
• Conduct all required flight planning, including weather analysis, fuel planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance.
• Perform thorough aircraft preflight inspections and verify aircraft airworthiness.
• Lead crew briefings and ensure effective Crew Resource Management (CRM).
• Provide guidance and leadership to First Officers and other crewmembers.
• Conduct passenger briefings and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Ground Support personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Serve as Inflight Security Coordinator in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain required training, qualifications, medical certification, and regulatory compliance.
• Support company safety initiatives through active participation in Safety Management System (SMS) programs and reporting processes.

Qualifications

Required

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
• Current U.S. Passport
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time
• Strong knowledge of Part 135 operations and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred

• CE-525 Type Rating (CJ3/CJ4)
• Previous Part 135 charter experience
• Citation CJ3/CJ4 operational experience

Base Requirement

Because most trips originate and terminate from Zelienople Municipal Airport (PJC) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC), applicants must reside within approximately 1.5 to 2 hours driving distance of either airport or be willing to relocate to the area.

Schedule

Our charter operation requires flexibility to meet customer needs. Pilots are generally expected to maintain availability approximately 17 days per month, including some weekends and holidays. Schedules vary based on operational demand and FAA duty and rest requirements.
