Job summary

MasterTech is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations on local projects within approximately 100 miles of Newtown, PA. You will lead multiple field crews and subcontractors, maintaining a strong focus on safety, schedule, quality, and productivity.

Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, with benefits including a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid vacation/PTO, a company vehicle, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience as a Superintendent (highly preferred).
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour certification is required.
• Ability to lead multiple field crews and subcontractors across active operations.
• Strong planning, productivity, cost tracking, scheduling and manpower management.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, QA/QC processes, and equipment safety.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and construction activities on local projects within ~100 miles of Newtown, PA.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule and productivity across crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate planning, submittals, material tracking and QA/QC implementation.

The ideal candidate willhave demonstrated superintendent experience, strong leadership and planningskills, and the ability to effectively manage field crews and subcontractorswhile maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, andproductivity.

Compensation

Schedule

Day Shift,Monday – Friday.

Occasionalovertime and schedule flexibility may be required to meet project demands.

Projects areprimarily located within approximately 1–2 hours of the office, allowing forlocal travel with minimal overnight work.

Requirements

• 5+ years ofheavy civil construction experience with demonstrated responsibility as aSuperintendent.
• OSHA 10-Houror 30-Hour Certification required.
• Provenability to lead multiple field crews, supervisors, and subcontractors acrossactive construction operations.
• Strongunderstanding of construction planning, project specifications, productivity,cost tracking, scheduling, and manpower management.
• Thoroughknowledge of OSHA requirements, industry best practices, constructionequipment, and QA/QC processes.
• Strongleadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills with theability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• MicrosoftOffice proficiency and valid Driver's License; ability to work on localprojects within approximately 100 miles of Newtown, PA.

• Heavy civil,highway, bridge, industrial, or other complex construction projects.
• Constructionplanning, work sequencing, and schedule management.
• Budgetmanagement, job cost tracking, productivity monitoring, and projectforecasting.
• Reading andinterpreting construction drawings, specifications, and projectrequirements.
• Materialtracking, project submittals, document control, and QA/QC implementation.
