Black Hawk County is seeking a Communications Center Dispatcher to operate a PBX, radio, and telephone console to receive and dispatch emergency information to law enforcement and EMS personnel.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with at least 6 months of related experience preferred. Candidates must type 30 wpm, maintain logs, and obtain NCIC/CJIS and IA system certifications within specified timelines.
Under general supervision; operates a variety of communication equipment in the dissemination of information to law enforcement/emergency medical personnel; performs related work as required.
