Job summary

The Harris County Design Services and Public Works Support (DSPWS) group seeks a Civil CAD Designer to provide AutoCAD Civil 3D support across civil and multidisciplinary drawings for county projects. You will produce complete plan sets and accompany drawings with markups, figures, and drawings for Civil/Site, Structural, Architectural, Environmental drafting.

Candidate must have 5+ years of CADD production experience, strong Civil 3D skills, and the ability to work with a design team with

Qualifications

Associates or equivalent technical degree or certificate in CAD drafting.
5+ years of CADD production experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design, including survey, roadway and parks design.
Proficiency using Adobe Pro, Bluebeam Revu, Excel, and Word.
Must have a Texas drivers license upon hire.

Responsibilities

Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create engineering construction documents, including grading, alignments, profiles, surfaces, corridors, and pipe networks, plan production, etc.
