WSP USA in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Civil/Transportation Engineer to join our collaborative design team. You will support civil, highway, transportation, and public infrastructure projects with planning, design, permitting, and construction support to meet standards of quality and safety.

The role requires development of calculations, documentation, and coordination across disciplines, with emphasis on effective communication to clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of civil engineering experience in infrastructure design or construction management.
• Engineer in Training certification.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, permitting, and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with regulators and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support civil/highway and transportation design tasks on infrastructure projects.
• Analyze site, survey, GIS, and data to support planning, design, permitting, and construction.
• Prepare calculations, estimates, technical reports, and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and disciplines (structures, drainage, traffic, utilities, environmental).
• Assist with field reviews, inspections, and construction support to ensure conformance with plans and standards.
• Contribute to quality control, schedule and budget awareness, and clear communication.
