Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily site patrol and productivity tracking to meet project timeline.
• Quality control inspections to ensure subcontractor work meets specs and standards.
• Lead quality inspections with inspectors and coordinate on-site with trades.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
• Coordinate crew mobilization and subcontractor work to prevent delays.
• Monitor project costs including labor, materials, and equipment.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team in Taylor, Texas. As we lead the construction of a cutting-edge semiconductor foundry project, we are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, excels in site coordination and document control, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily site patrol and track productivity to manage the project timeline and schedule.
• Conduct daily quality control inspection to ensure that subcontractors have completed the work in accordance with the specification, meeting all contractual requirements and industry standard (ex. TxDOT).
• Lead quality control inspection with quality inspectors.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline and contractors on-site.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe working environment on-site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate crew mobilization, and subcontractor work to prevent delays and avoid conflicts on-site.
• Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, such as high-tech infrastructure, highways, utilities, concrete, foundation slabs, pile construction or large-scale grading operations.
• Exceptional coordination skill.
• Proficient Knowledge of relevant construction code, regulation and specification.
• Proficient knowledge of applicable project management and document tracking
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather.
