Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks Civil/Structural/Highway interns for the New England Branch with offices in Boston, Wilmington, Bedford and Portsmouth.

Interns will perform field investigations, analysis, 3D design, drafting, plan development, report writing, and construction-site visits. Ideal candidates are engineering students with strong communication skills and familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; you’ll work with experienced teams on transportation infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering with civil/structural/highway interest.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site with an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design tasks.
• Prepare organized calculations and reports.
• Draft using 3D CADD software (MicroStation/AutoCAD).
• Assist with layout, quantity development, and deliverables.
• Support field inspections and project coordination with seniors.
