Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking an Overhead Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and grow the engineering team while shaping technical strategy and culture. The role involves close collaboration with the Engineering Director and oversight of engineers across multiple offices, ensuring adherence to QA/QC standards and client expectations.

You will mentor senior staff, manage workload, and coordinate with Business Development to secure a steady backlog of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited school; PE license is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in transmission line design for high voltage utility infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior engineers, managers, and executives of current or prospective clients.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering offices and cross-train staff for efficiency and scale.
• Lead technical strategy, QA/QC, and project planning to ensure cost, quality, and schedule targets.
