Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. is seeking Civil, Structural, Bridge, Highway, Water Resources, and Land Planning interns for our Albany, NY office. Interns will perform field investigations, analysis, 3D design, drafting, plan development, and report writing under the guidance of experienced project teams.

Opportunities to explore multiple engineering disciplines and engage in training sessions and mentorship. Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Must be a student pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Some MicroStation and/or AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design.
• Prepare cohesive engineering calculations.
• Draft using 3D CADD software.
• Assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Develop task deliverables for review by a Senior Engineer.
• Work on schedule and budget as assigned.
• Work independently under guidance of a Senior Engineer.
• Participate in field inspections of future project locations and active construction sites.
• Assist with report writing.
