Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural Building Systems Engineering Interns for our Albany, NY office.

Interns will assist in analysis, design development, drafting, field investigations, and report preparation, working with experienced engineers on varied building systems projects. The program pairs each intern with mentors and exposes you to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural disciplines.

Formación

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural analysis and design.
• Support the preparation of engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Develop drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM/CADD software.
• Assist with load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.
• Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and construction observations.
• Review drawings under the supervision of senior engineering staff.
• Support project teams in developing design deliverables for review by licensed engineers.
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of building design projects.
• Assist with report writing, documentation, and project coordination activities.
