Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience with our design and field teams. You will support project solutions, assist in engineering designs, and collaborate across departments to meet client needs.

Local candidates only for on-site work in Minnesota. Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (civil preferred) with strong analytical, communication, and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Civil preferred).
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Project Solutions: Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients.
• Design Assistance: Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under supervision of senior engineers.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Project Support: Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• Site Visits: May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Engineering Standards: Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
