Contech Engineered Solutions in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our design and field marketing teams, assisting engineers, contractors and developers on civil projects while you pursue an engineering degree.

You will collaborate with design engineers on project-specific solutions, assist in engineering designs, and gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment within a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Civil preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Project Solutions: Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients and provide quality designs to secure and integrate products on site plans.
• Design Assistance: Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers and perform calculations to support design decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Project Support: Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• Site Visits: May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Engineering Standards: Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
