Job summary

ProSidian Consulting, LLC seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer (DS108) to support Savannah River Site (Aiken, SC) for SRMC. You will perform advanced structural analyses, SSI and dynamic seismic work, and evaluate complex loading cases on nuclear/industrial facilities.

Requires 8+ years of experience, familiarity with STAAD/ANSYS/ABAQUS/SASSI/DYNA3D, and PE licensure. The role is contract-based with SRR processes and field walk-down duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in the design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Working knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS, SASSI, DYNA3D or similar codes.
• Sound knowledge of National Codes and Standards such as IBC, AISC, ASCE, ACI.
• Ability to perform field walk-downs of structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analyses to validate design adequacy for normal operation and accident loading.
• Execute Seismic Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) analyses and dynamic seismic analyses.
• Evaluate loading from rain, flood, snow, and explosion effects on structures.
• Conduct field walk-downs of structural systems to support engineering evaluations.
• Work within SRR processes and SRR-provided programmatic guidance.
