Job summary

OLH Inc. is seeking a Civil Structural Analyst for SRMC in Aiken, SC to perform advanced structural analyses and validate design adequacy for normal operation and accident loading conditions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in nuclear or industrial facilities, an MS or BS with PE, and proficiency with STAAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS, SASSI, and DYNA3D, plus knowledge of IBC, AISC, ASCE and ACI. Some travel to interface with vendors and engineering teams may be required.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with professional licensure (PE).
• Minimum eight years of experience in design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Experience with national codes such as IBC, AISC, ASCE, and ACI.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analyses to validate design adequacy under normal and accident loading.
• Conduct SSI, dynamic seismic analysis, and evaluate responses for various loads.
• Travel off-site to interface with vendors and engineering teams as required.
