Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. seeks an Engineer II/III in the KM Liquids Engineering Group for civil/structural design and support on capital greenfield/brownfield projects. Responsibilities include estimation, calculations, design, and construction support across all project phases.

The role requires 5+ years in civil/structural design and 2+ years in oil/gas/chemical/utilities facilities, with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
5+ years of experience as a civil/structural design engineer.
2+ years of experience in oil/gas/chemical/utilities facility civil/structural engineering, design and construction projects.

Responsibilities

Perform civil/structural engineering and design for capital greenfield/brownfield projects across all project phases (estimation, calculations, design, construction support).
Apply company and industry standards to design and evaluation of civil/structural work.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with engineers, designers, drafters, construction support, vendors, customers, contractors, and regulatory officials.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
