Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group is seeking a Civil/Structural Intern or Co-op to work with our team on drawings, calculations, and deliverables for client design projects. You will interface with other disciplines to provide cohesive engineering packages and gain exposure to Nexus workflows.

You will develop AutoCAD 2-D and Revit 3-D graphics, update graphics standards, and contribute to templates for the Structural Department while reviewing codes and assisting senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Ability to work within diverse teams assembled from Nexus, clients, and others.
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word; openness to feedback for performance improvement.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or similar drafting software is desired.
• Exposure to STAADPRO or similar finite element programs is a plus.
