Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking an Engineer II, Civil & Structural to support new project work with a focus on civil and structural design. Responsibilities include designing steel structures and foundations, preparing calculations and drawings, and interfacing with customers and suppliers to meet project needs.

The role collaborates with a team of engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with codes and standards. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structural Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related engineering field. EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and structural analysis for steel structures and concrete foundations.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and reports under guidance of senior engineers.
• Review customer specifications and prepare technical clarifications and deviations.
• Plan and review deliverable schedules and project documentation.
