Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead analysis and design for modular frames, equipment supports, platforms, and lifting systems. You will evaluate wind, seismic, and other loads, and produce fabrication drawings and installation packages.

Work with drafting, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant with IBC, ASCE 7, and AISC standards during fabrication and field deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or closely related Engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Structural design experience supporting industrial, commercial, infrastructure, telecom, data center, modular construction, or other engineered structures.
• Experience with structural steel or concrete foundation design, anchoring systems, and structural load analysis such as wind, seismic, snow, or lifting considerations.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000, or similar tools used for structural modeling and design validation.
• Ability to develop and review fabrication drawings, structural details, welded and bolted connections, with a strong understanding of industrial fabrication and construction practices.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or comparable CAD platforms, with practical experience supporting both shop fabrication and field installation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for modular frames, equipment supports, platforms, lifting systems, and enclosure structures across wind, seismic, thermal, transportation, and operational loads.
• Engineer modular building and support systems with skids, sub-bases, floors, roofs, anchoring solutions, and foundations under multi-load conditions.
• Develop and review engineering documentation including structural calculations, fabrication drawings, connection details, weld specifications, BOMs, layouts, and installation packages.
• Collaborate with drafting, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, code-compliant, and translated into production and field requirements.
• Provide technical support through fabrication, testing, inspection, field deployment, resolving structural issues, and assisting with commissioning and installation activities.
• Drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement through code compliance (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI), constructability reviews, design standardization, technical problem-solving, QA, and tooling/process enhancements.
