Job summary

Corle Building Systems is hiring a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join the Engineering Department. The role focuses on designing metal building systems that meet codes and project specs, using multiple software packages, and delivering cost-effective solutions for diverse projects.

You will manage several projects, coordinate with customers and other departments, support sales in bidding and estimation, and serve as the engineering resource in customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET-Accredited Institution) is required.
• Experience with using MBS software preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of building codes such as IBC, AISC, ASCE-7, and AISI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of metal building systems in compliance with building codes and specifications using multiple software packages.
• Provide effective and economical solutions to challenges on various types of projects such as churches, airplane hangars, sports complexes, retail and industrial buildings.
• Manage multiple projects through the engineering process by effectively communicating with customers and teammates from other departments.
• Assist sales in the bidding and estimating process of metal building projects.
• Represent Corle Building Systems as an engineering resource in sales meetings with customers.
