Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a senior-level engineer, licensed (PE/SE), with a background in metal building systems to lead design and mentoring within the engineering team.

In this role you will oversee complex projects, ensure compliance with structural codes, collaborate with customers to reach optimal building solutions, and mentor junior engineers while driving quality and efficiency across the department.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states preferred.
• Design metal buildings of medium to high complexity.
• Drive productivity improvements while reducing costs and enhancing value.
• Balance multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead metal building system design and highly complex framing.
• Assumes supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Engineering Manager.
• Engages with customers to develop optimized building solutions.
• Designs and oversees projects ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical growth.
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions.
