Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a senior-level Licensed Professional Engineer with a background in metal building systems to lead design efforts within the engineering department.

You will independently manage complex projects, ensure structural code compliance, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with customers to deliver optimized solutions that meet manufacturing standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in metal building design or structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design of metal building systems with high complexity.
• Provide seal/design accountability for projects as required.
• Mentor and train junior/mid-level engineers.
• Coordinate with customers to develop optimized building solutions.
• Ensure compliance with structural codes and company standards.
