Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Renewal Practice. You will perform structural analysis, repair design, and renovation work on existing buildings, coordinating with in-house teams and external consultants.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Architecture, 2+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel within the US and internationally. Master’s degree preferred; Miami area based.

Qualifications

• At least two years of structural design, repair, renovation, and/or retrofit design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with existing buildings for renovation and extensions is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.

Our multidisciplinary design and assessment services cover a wide range of needs. We perform condition assessments, investigations, feasibility studies, and peer reviews. We design repairs, renovations, and alterations and oversee their execution in the field.

The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for Senior Structural Engineer for our Renewal Practice. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in structural design, structural repair, renovation, retrofit design, demolition, and/or property loss consulting.
