Thornton Tomasetti in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Renewal Practice to design and guide structural repair, renovation, retrofit projects. You’ll work with in‑house teams and external consultants on existing buildings, travel within the US and internationally, and contribute to a broad range of rebuilding and expansion efforts.

Required: at least two years of structural design experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred).

Our multidisciplinary design and assessment services cover a wide range of needs. We perform condition assessments, investigations, feasibility studies, and peer reviews. We design repairs, renovations, and alterations and oversee their execution in the field.

The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for Senior Structural Engineer for our Renewal Practice. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in structural design, structural repair, renovation, retrofit design, demolition, and/or property loss consulting.
