A leading company in infrastructure solutions seeks a Civil Staff Engineer to analyze and design municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves preparing engineering reports, cost estimates, and managing diverse projects while offering growth into project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and independent work.
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater, and wet weather systems, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
The Civil Staff Engineer is responsible for the supervised analysis, design, and planning of municipal infrastructure such as collection systems, distribution systems, and treatment facilities in the built environment. Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, engineering reports, scientific documents, and performing data analysis on water resources engineering projects. The successful candidate will support project managers by preparing construction cost estimates, project implementation schedules, and related data analysis while working on diverse projects. The role offers growth into project management, leading projects, managing clients, and working independently.
Ability to perform data analysis and present results to stakeholders. Knowledge of basic database, SQL, and Python skills is a plus. Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office. Creativity, initiative, good judgment, and clear communication are important. Flexibility, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are required. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight schedules and occasionally work extra hours, are necessary.
This position is not remote. The Civil Staff Engineer will be required to work in the office at least three days per week.
